Error code mean

Asked by Jul 28, 2014 at 08:57 PM about the 2004 Dodge Neon 4 Dr R/T Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My check engine light came on and the guy at Autozone said I have error codes.  ABS
Electric Control - 11, ABS error 12 under voltage and ABS error 15 - Over voltage.  What
does this mean and what do I need to do??  Thank you.

You need to have the ABS checked with an ABS checker that has a live data capability, that way the tech can watch the system's components as it is being driven, I have a suspicion that there is a fault in the wiring the powers the ABS.

^ what he said, a general scan tool cant give you the specific problem with the abs. you must use a DRBIII or some sort of live data monitor to figure out the issue, most shops have this capability

My 2004 Dodge Neon has code p0517 & p0700??
