2004 Intrepid ran out of gas refueled now car cranks but won't turn over

My wife didn't fuel her car I went to go
refuel it started i drove it about 300 feet
and shut off got fuel and refueled but car
will not start cranks but won't turn over
can someone please help

Turn your key 3/4 of the way.....but not full ignition. This allows the fuel pump time to send fuel up to the engine block. Just wait 20 seconds or so and then try cranking You probably had some air in the fuel line

    I have. 2004 Dodge intrepid and I can't keep it running.. everytime it will start but then the rpm go up and as soon as it falls down it stalls out.. what could this be? Could it be the muffler?
