how to get engine oil dipstick unjammed
I dont know how bad it is, but you coulfd try grabbing it with a pair of pliers.
Thanks micheal its not broken just wont come out,im afraid i may break it
It's either find a way to pull it or take off the oil pan and punch it up from the bottom. Most dipsticks are made from spring steel so they're very durable. Maybe if you tried rotating it in one direction or another?
Most Durango dipsticks have a plastic handle on the upper end. If you pull too hard with a tool, it may break off. Then you'll need a shop to get it out. A tiny squirt of WD-40 at the top may help. Let it sit for fifteen minutes to see if it reduces friction. Good Luck.
