I bought a 2004 Dodge 3 weeks ago. I just replace the alternator this week but my truck won't turn over. I don't think it's the starter because not even revving up. Is it the computer code?

Possible the alternator you put in may be no good? was it a brand new one or a remanufactured one. Does the battery have 12 volts or is that dead as well?

The computer code is pulled from the harness on the driver side below the dashboard. The scanner is hooked up and a code will display on the scanner. The truck has to have power to pull the code. The code doesn't tell what the part is bad, it means that something in that circuit is bad. A certified shop and mechanic is needed to track down the short in the system. Buying parts and putting them will get expensive and won't fix that problem.
