Right Hand Signal indicator (Blinker) on Dash
My right hand blinker light on the dash board stopped working, all the exterior lights are still working when engaging a right hand turn, just not on the dash light indicator. The problem started as an intermittent issues, then became a fulltime problem. Oddly enough the other day the indicate worked for a very brief period of time i.e two right hand turns but then hasn't worked since.
Any ideas what the issue is, and is it straight forward to fix, or should it be taken to an auto electrian?
Sounds like a burned out bulb for the indicator light on the instrument cluster. It may be replaceable. Believe it or not on some newer vehicles the bulbs are not replaceable and the whole cluster must be replaced to fix it. Hopefully yours isn't like that!! HTH. -Jim
