2004 dakota, 88000 miles, original brakes.

Check the pads or shoes, they might need replacing, especially at 80K original mile. If you left them go that long, you might have to turn down or replace the rotor or drum depending on brake type.

Orginal Brakes, sounds like the problem. At least I hope the front brakes have been changed at least once.
