Oil light comes on when stopped and goes off when driving, why?

If the oil level is fine it might mean the oil pump is starting to go bad.

that, or the oil pressure sending unit is going out. try that first. it is more likely and cheaper and easier to replace.

Shitty cheap fram filter that's plugged up will cause that too
