How do you know you need a timing chain? Someone misinformed you. Your vehicle uses a Timing belt and yes it needs to be change at certain intervals, usually around 100K. Is your's broken? If it isn't and you want to perform preventative maintenance, then around $300-$500 depending on who does it and what other parts are being replaced. But if it broke already, you might have bent valves requiring for repair and cost. HTH's
I personally, had mine break on my 2002 dodge stratus, and i had bent valves and the whole nine yards. I had to pay $600, and that was with parts + labor.
