Replace radiator/ac condenser, thermostat (three times) housing, and my car is leaking fluid again from the same place. What is the problem?

HAve yu checked for a seal or gasket that may be missing? Sounds like what happened on my ford ranger water pump and hose connection pipe. There was a rubber o-ring missing and did not know it, the regular maintenance mauals didn't show it. I had to go to ford and have them pull up a real maintenance maunal to find a $.75 o-ring.
