Sentra and snow
What customization can I do to a 2012 Nissan
Sentra SL to make it powerful enough for snow
conditions. Other than better tires, are there any
No other options for your car. I personally would use dedicated snow tires on an extra set of rims. Then when you get the first snowfall, find an empty parking lot and practice, seeing how your car will react in the snow when you are on the streets with other drivers and cars.
In snowy conditions, it is all about the tires. The only other thing you could do is trade it for an AWD or 4WD vehicle.
You could put a couple of tubes of sand in the back. Patricia Reynolds
The tubes offer an enormous amount of stabilization in the snow. I put 2 or 3 sand tubes in my Honda Element, in my Nissan Truck and in my Sentra. We are getting our third SNOWSTORM here in CT. Sand tubes can be bought at a hardware stores or places, I believe, like Home Depot. Some people use sandbags. Patricia Reynolds Good luck.
