2005 Stratus R/T...No start,no crank...

Asked by Rabbit_5520 Mar 20, 2015 at 03:29 PM about the 2005 Dodge Stratus R/T Coupe FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Turn the key all I get is a big click that sounds like the bendix kicks on and then nothing. Have replaced the battery (it was over due) and still the same "click" and nothing.
I have gone through the fuse blocks with my meter and I get no reading on any thing yet the radio,lights,etc...all work. I got a voltage reading of 12.47 at the starter relay and that is it...I'm scrathing my head and my arse on this one...help!

I have the same exact problem with an 04... managed to get it jumped once but it literally took over an hourthem would start but would drag. Then wife brought the car home and haven't been able to get stayed since. Have checked fuses wiring, not sure how to jump starter by passing solenoid. Any way the computer restricts the power top starter?
