"skidding" light and "4WD" light showing on dash. Dealer says its an Electric Motor Axle need to be replaced. Apparently this is not covered under normal waranty so I have to pay R 21 000.00 [$1400]
Is this normal for Jeep not to provide warranty on electric motor axle - that I have to pay extra $1400?
sometimes, the "normal warranty" goes 3 years or 36k miles. but sometimes a vehicle will come with an extended warranty which usually only covers mechanical issues with the drive train itself. very frustrating.
