No, that's not normal. Most likely you need to secure the tube and scan the computer for trouble codes. Your local auto parts store can scan the computer. Most stores will do it for free. It's probably an EVAP system problem causing a vacuum leak because of the gas tank tube not being secure. Hope that helps! Jim
