The speedometer on my 2005 dodge neon doesn't work
drive the vehicle to the dealer, it has to be programed. ( the pinion factor ) to make the speedo work
Hate to do that, don't trust the dealer. But what other choice do I have. Thanks!
take it to an aftermarket shop and see if they can program the pinion factor into the pcm
i had a 1st gen neon with the same problem i pulled the gauge cluster out and resoutered the 2 10 pin connectors on the back side. check those they maybe cracked. but if not da3grunt's suggestion will be the next best option.
scott 2gns didnt have the cluster issues like the 1gn. i'm going to say its a connection issue or the VSS is bad
