I have a 2003 Jeep Cherokee & I had my friend change the thermostat & now it won't stop leaking from the thermostat housing what could be wrong with it

Forgot gasket.....thermostat in backward....hose not clamped....no gasket sealer used....over- torqued the bolts..warped housing
