what will a garage charge to put code reader on my 2005 dodge neon, has engine light on

Most will be an hour of labor, why dont you take it to a place like Autozone or Advance Auto Parts they will read the car for free..

I live in nova scotia, Canada, don't think we have an Autozone type, and certainly not for free, up here, but thanks anyway
