Can the 3.5L V6 Magnum hold the compression of a turbo
I want to add a nice turbo system, custom of course, don't want to go supercharger, I'd prefer turbocharging my wagon
Short answer is yes, it can, if you severely limit the boost. But I wouldn't. The V6 compression ratio leaves very little room for additional compression. There are very few turbo manufacturers who have a "system" to fit the SXT Magnum, for just that reason. So you'll be doing a ton of customizing not to mention the re-programming - on your own. For the money and aggravation, go with a small supercharger. You can even get an electric supercharger that runs on an independent battery. Look into the Crossfire for possible other options in the engine bay. Or buy a decent used SRT8, it might be less costly in the long run!
