Dodge magnum 2005 temp.needle stay on C

i found out you can recalibrate the gauges by going to the trip meter holding down the reset on it while switching from acc to on like three times and waiting or maybe off to acc like three times and wait and gauges will reset just hold button down through entire process and if it still doesnt work check tthe connection on the sensor
