I have a 2004 Chevy Astro van and it will not crank. I have changed the fuel pump and fuel filter. I do not have pressure at the fuel rail. what should I try next?
So it cranks but won't start, no fuel pressure, check fuel pump main fuse, if fuse checks good then you need to run a circuit on the fuel pump power feed, it could be a broken wire or bad relay.
I've checked the fuse and the fuel pump will run, but I don't have pressure at the fuel rail. I'll check for broken wire. Thanks
If the pump runs but still no pressure then you could have a broken main fuel hose at the pump or there is a blockage in the fuel line somewhere from pump to engine.
I ran the fuel pump and it ran gas through a clear line into a gas can. There was not much pressure though.
