Mini 2012 Countryman Issues

I bought a like new 2012 used mini cooper
countryman in 2014. Since the warranty ram out i
have spent over $6,000 out of pocket on coils,
broken valve spring and rebuild, more coils and
spark plugs. And now car in shop for over 4 weeks
with come and go check engine light. Computer
Software update, timing sensor, burning oil and no
end in sight. Too up side down with financing to
get rid of car. Anyone please help

I hate to say it but you need to find a new engine or have yours overhauled, if you're burning (alot) of oil its probably due to the piston oil control rings being stuck and not doing their job. That alone can cause a multitude of issues that will never be solved no matter how many other parts you throw at it, i.e spark plugs/ coils wear out prematurely, burnt exhaust valve(s), alot of carbon buildup (usually shows itself as black soot spattered out tailpipe at startup) which kills power and increases fuel consumption. Unfortunately theres not always an cheap/ easy solution
