You can do this but there are issues to check out and it is possible to get it running. The motor will bolt in no problem. The problem is with the reluctor ring, (tone ring) in the engines crankshaft. 2002 is when they changed from a 16 tooth reluctor to a 32 tooth reluctor ring. Most 2002 I have found to be the 16 tooth. This you need to figure out, and If I remember right, it is just a matter of changing the computer and wiring harness. There is a lot of information out there you can look up to see what exactly needs to be done, but it is possible. If the 2002 engine has the 32 tooth reluctor ring, then your golden.

Their both 4.7L engines, thats one thing you have going for you, it will bolt right up.

Will I have to move mounts sorry asking so many questions

Hey, here to help, this is what its all about, people helping people...So no it is the same engine basically, just the way it is set-up on top of the engine, besides the reluctor, is what may be different.

What if I have o6 durango can a 04 ram engine work if it's same 4.7

Tzpromoinc, yes it would.
