Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Recently had to change fuel pump
because car died and had to be towed.
Battery went dead because of constantly
trying to restart it after it originally died, fuel
pump replaced, battery jumped off to start
car. Car started and ran fine, drove around
4 blocks and left it running approximately
40 minutes after parking. Turned it off, the
car sat overnight and well into the next
afternoon; went out to start the car via
"push start" with the keyless fob and
nothing...the dash readout says to insert
the key, but I have no ignition key
entry...push start button only. Later that
night, no read out on dash, it's like the
battery is dead. Replaced key fob battery
and still nothing, currently using a trickle
charger at 2 amps to charge the car
battery. Any other suggestions please?

Prior to the fuel pump issue, about 3 weeks earlier I had around 7 recalls supposedly fixed at the dealership, don't think that has anything to do with my issue but thought I would add that in.
