OK, maybe you have a problem? So, it worked fine before now? I'm sure that you have a lot of miles on a 2004? Have you considered a Subaru Outback, with AWD, if you decide to consider an alternative vehicle.

Not much miles, in fact I just did my servicing a week ago

You have AWD, not 4WD, and they are not very good in the sand. You might have an issue, but maybe not. Get it checked out by a decent mechanic.

Maybe 4WD, BUT, see this, Subaru vehicles are quite capable. http://www.subaruoutback.org/forums/96-outback-unpaved/74530- 2010-outback-sand.html
