Okay the battery light was on I
replaced the battery brand new
one then went 10 miles turn it
off wouldn't start back up got to
jump it every time so now the
alternator light comes on so I
still get a dealer have them fix it
Don't ever buy a Chrysler

That old most independent shops can fix, even if it's an ECM(typical Chrysler) I don't remember just how many Chrysler products did this in my shop. Came in with the charge light on and the battery and alternator tested good and it was the ECM.

Well, the vehicle is 12 years old. I'm not a Chrysler fan but things do wear out. Your symptoms sound like a bad alternator. When the battery light comes on it means the alternator is not working. The reason you were able to drive a short distance with the new battery is because it was fully charged. The engine was running off the battery until it was dead. The Dealer should have known that!! Jim
