I searched for regulator ,was told it was in pcm ,do you think this would be problem and would reflash fix it or should I get new pcm?

The regulator is in the alternator. Don't flash anything. Check the battery voltage with the engine running. It should be around 14-14.5 volts. If the voltage is good, don't go replacing parts to turn the battery light off.
