Bought a car that I probably shouldn't have

OK dodge stratus sxt 06 4cyl ....checked the
codes I had a p0303 mis fire cyl3 and p0340
can shaft sensor ..changed the spark plugs
valve gasket spark plug seals  changed oil
changed cam shaft sensor cleaned throttle
body replaced air filter ...and now if I rev the
engine the rpms go up but when they go
down the car starts to hesitate and almost
stalls out ...I did find a little hose
disconnected but don't have any where I can
see to connect it to it is attached to a T
fitting ...need help asap

Most likely the P0303 is being caused by the P0340 in addition to the engine problems. The P0340 means there's a problem with the camshaft position sensor CIRCUIT not necessarily the sensor. It could be the wiring going to the sensor or even the PCM (computer) itself. Carefully inspect the wiring going to the sensor. Be sure there's no damage to the wiring. If that's ok, you'll need to have the PCM looked at. HTH. -Jim
