My 2004 ford escape acts like it's not getting enough gas or air flow, what is causing this

If your check engine light is on, you should bring it to Autozone and have your error codes read. If it's not on, buy some throttle body cleaner and spray it down. Buy a can of MAF cleaner (Mass Air Flow) and spray down your MAF as well. Have you changed out your plugs lately? May be time for a tune up. Plugs, fuel filter, air filter etc....Post back with results......
