Why does my car keep turning off when I stop?

Asked by Jan 06, 2015 at 11:58 AM about the 2006 Dodge Magnum SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a '06 Dodge Magnum. I have had a
ton of work done: new cat. Converter, new
throttle body sensor, new battery, new
spark plugs and coils, new alternator and
new starte... all in the past 6 months.
However, it turns off when I come to a stop.
It turns on fine, it idles fine while in park
(most of the time). Sometimes it drives fine
but lately and mostly it turns off when i
come to a stop and it struggles to
excellerate. The mechanic has tried to
diagnose the problem but the engine is not
reading anything being wrong with it.  HELP
PLEASE

I have an 07 mine does the same thing, I have to keep turning it off and on or putting it in neutral when driving and coming to a red light. Have you figured your problem out yet ?
