What do could be the problem if your fuel pump is not firing on a 2006 dodge magnum rt

The car stop on me all of a sudden
never had any problems before
nothing came up when it was tested
and the car cranks up but does not
turn over what could be the issue? I
was thinking fuel pump but some
one told me the fuel pump is not
getting fire what does that mean

Could be anything- either in the fuel system or the ignition system- "someone" may not know what he is talking about- the car must be tested by a good mechanic-

If the fuel pump isn't running with the key turned to the 'on' position, check the fuel pump fuse which is located in the rear power distribution panel, under the spare tire access panel. If the fuse is okay, I'm betting its the relay. The fuel pump relay (it's about $4) located in the same panel. Your owner's manual will not list the relay or tell you where it is, but it's in the same fuse panel and is labeled. BTW, 'crank' and 'turn over' have the same meaning. In your case, the car 'won't start'. Good luck!
