I’m not saying this is going to work for you, but worth a try. My car battery needed a boost, and when the car started, my climate/radio screen was blank. Upon googling, I read to press the EJECT button on the CD player. It worked for me!

If that doesn't work disconnect the negative terminal on the car's battery. This resets it.

Even i am also facing the same issue. Screen is turned on and off, can not change any settings for AC or heat even radio is not working. Any guesses what could be the issue or where can i take it. Dodge dealership Sherwoodpark said over the phone that car audio system needs to be replaced for $1200 but that is too much. Pls advise

I have a 2017 journey gt and the screen thing happened to me too. So I did the above, holding eject button But it didn’t work at first but then I did it again and then pressed the power button on the volume and it turned on .

I have a Journey from 10.2016 model 2017 and since I bought it has a problem with the radio 8.4. It works 1.2 or 5 days and then there is a dark screen and so over and over every few days or after a long journey the screen turns off and it is dark I can't deal with it. I checked the voltage on the display and the voltage comes with can + and- signals but the display is still off, the radio also has power.

I tried all of the above after changing my battery and then realized my car screen monitor for radio and AC was not turning on. After trying all suggestions i pulled up online. I went to autozone and bought new fuses and a fuse tester, spent about $10 dollars and i discovered 2 fuses that were burned (might have happened during battery change) i changed those 2 fuses that were in the inner fuse box at the bottom of the feet of the passenger side. i did checked the main fuse box under the hood but those were good. So after changing those 2 fuses for new ones I turned vehicle on and it worked! Praise God! i was so happy. Hope this helps someone!.

I had the same issue and here was my fix! I disconnected the battery, then pressed on the brake pedal to drain any remaining power in the car, left the battery disconnected for 30 minutes. After reconnecting the battery the radio has worked for months now with no issues!

I tried all of the above suggestions, Eject button, Volume and tune but nothing. I then took off the negative battery terminal and all is now good. Thanks!

Go on YouTube and watch this video. I took a screenshot so you can find it. The panels come of with a little effort. There are clips around it. My radio and climate control reset once I unhooked everything and then reconnected. The video I watched was excellent.

I pulled the Radio fuse out and put it back in reset radio. It went off after boosting . Hope this helps.

Had the same thing happen in my 2017 Journey. It happened after replacing the heater AC recirc actuator. Everything worked fine after except for the touch screen and radio. Tried all the button pushing fixes and they didn't work. Disconnected the negative side of the battery and checked the fuse box in the passenger floor well. None of the fuses were blown but maybe just disturbing them caused the problem and fixed it. Or it was the battery disconnection that worked. Thank God for simple fixes :-)

Tried press 10 seconds eject button and everything gets back to life Unbelievable but true! Thanks you all

I have the touch screen not working issue as well. Tried the eject button trick, removing the negative terminal from the battery for 1/2 hour, ensuring the fuses were good - all to no avail. Finally I decided to remove both the cd and radio fuses, drive the 15 minutes into town with them out, then while they were still out spent another 15 minutes washing the car, then prior to leaving I put the fuses back in then fired up the vehicle. Screen started normally...yay!!

Dodge Journey has a battery sensor $269, After removing front left wheel and tire liner.Replaced sensor and cleaned contact area. Reassembled and it worked great. Sensor broke was very brittle. New one is fine. May have been deteriorated from elements and age.. Good Luck and be careful. Hope this helps.
