how can i keep my 2006 5.7 hemi 4x4 durango slt from shifting out of all wheel drive

my transfer case will begin shifting if i close ther passenger side door with or without key
in ignition or any one in then vehicleengine like comes on with serv. 4x4 ITS CLANGING
REAqwlly bad now and i;m afraid ton drive it I neeed a solution thqanks

Better start checking the grounding connections, start with the dash circuits on the passenger side, then continue on with the body straps, it would be a good idea to purchase a service manual that has wiring diagrams and componets locator in it, this will take some time.
