nothing as in no cranking of the starter? did you smack the starter with a hammer or somthing to see if it was hung up?

Have you considered the battery? Could read 12 volts but not have the amperage to spin the starter. Option would be to take it into a place that has a load tester or.... if you have jumper cables, have someone jump you. If it starts, then it is the battery. Other thing, if you turn the key and just hear a click, it's the starter solenoid. Take a multimeter and place the positive probe on the positive terminal of the starter solenoid and the negative probe on a ground and have someone turn the ignition. If it reads 12 volts, it's the solenoid.

Replaced battery , checked fuses, pulled ignition key cylinder & inspected seemed ok, did reset with odometer button yet when I turn key nothing not even click at solenoid, only dash light that stays on is motor icon. I wondering if its the key or chip and if so what do I do to remedy. Knuckles
