Rust on manifold

Looking to buy this van...is this rust an issue or
normal?

A rusty exhaust manifold is normal.

Look for rust on the body work as you don't want any of that.

That is a major issue I would advise you not to buy that van .For one there will be no power if has holes on the manifolds.That is very bad.My advise don't buy it.You will have major problems coming your way.

Like full of regrets said rust is normal but big holes not so much.Dont buy it.

Rust on the exhaust manifold is normal. However the heat shield is badly rusted through and should be replaced! When you have the heat shield off, inspect the manifold for rust holes. If you have holes in the manifold itself, that's bad and not a cheap fix. Very labor intensive. HTH. -Jim
