Is there a plug and play headlight upgrade for 2009 Audi Q7 from halogen headlamps to bixenon with LED?
I have a 2009 Q7 with halogen heads and am looking to upgrade to full xenon with the
LED surround, looking for something hopefully plug n play that will not give me dash
Short answer is no, there isn't a simple conversion. There are conversions that will give you the LED marker light look, but the the actual bixenon conversion is a much bigger and more complex job to get the light pattern and balancing right. There are some cheap solutions that offer bulbs and ballast that use the halogen housings, but that approach doesn't enhance your visibility and simply dazzles other driver's eyes.
I've been looking for a while for the headlamps but to no avail. I already have the LED turn signal and DRL strips which work well. Thanks for the answer!
I did this to a Abarth Fiat. Use a AC or DC ballast.
Jpoey22103 were did you pick up led trim signal& drl strips
No I used HID bulbs & ballast's on the headlights and LED clusters on everything else. I found a car lighting specialist at a local shop with parts & installation too.
