I have a 2012 Coupe that I love. Lately the icy road warning light comes on frequently as does the park brake warning light however they turn off after some driving time. How fix?
Today for instance in addition my low tire pressure light came on and then went out after about 30 minutes of driving. Has anyone experienced these same situations. If so what can be done to fix the problem?
Check the tire pressures of all tires. You must have a really low pressure in one tire to make the light go on and the other warning lights.
Did that, you were correct the tire needed more air. However the icy road warning light comes on and goes off and comes on again as does the parking brake warning light. Any ideas on this?
Parking brake warning is either the parking brake is faulty or on, and or the brake fluid is low. Check the brake fluid in the reservoir to see if it is at the MAX line. If not, you have a leak. the ICY warning comes on when bad weather is detected. Such as temperature close to freezing. Is the weather cold in your area?
Thank you for your answer and your time. I will check the brake fluid. As for the icy road warning....I live in Canada however the light comes on during the summer and believe it or not in Canada summers can be really hot, hihi.
The brake fluid was in fact low, no leaks though. And the warning lights have stop lighting up. Graze mille for the information and have a great autumn.
