Question type: General

How do I set the visor buttons on my 2012 Escape to open my garage door?
It's an old Sears digital control. Has set numbers not the scrolling type.

Does the Garage door opener have a button on the rear of it to press to allow any type of programing?

No, it's an old Sears opener, it just has a reset button. Thanks for your help.

Well that's a bummer... It's not compatible with your home link system them... Sorry for the bad news

I'm not sure about that. I programmed my 04 Expedition with no problem and I have 3 doors, 1-Craftsman, 2-Chamberland and all three work for me. Programming directions are in my owners manual.

Oldtimer37. Thanks but I do not have any manuals. I looked online for any help I can get. Did you hold the remote up next to the visor to program?

As I remember, I did. I waited until I was a few blocks from home so the garage doors didn't keep going up and down.
