when do rotors need to be ,resurfaced or replaced on Ford Ranger 2005?

If they are etched by the old brake pads, or warped, they can be turned probably once. If worn down too far to be turned or have been overheated to the point that they have a bluish tint to them, they will have to be replaced. HTH

if you keep up with your maintenance you should be able to turn them twice, if not and they grind in any way it could lead to many more problems like metal shavings going into the caliper and causing it to stick and pads wear down uneven or faster then the other side. hope this helps.
