My left rear brake and directional lights not working. Fast blinking and bulb
has been inspected and replaced. It was not blown but I replaced anyway.
They did work intermittently for a couple days and now don't work.
All other lights and directional work fine. Is there a relay or component that
affects rear left directional/brake lights

I would follow that tail lights wiring which will run under the vehicle to the plugin. Take the plugin apart and clean with some electrical cleaner and plug back together. Otherwise there is a circuit board in the tail light assembly lens that may need replacing.

could be bcm 5 left rear or bcm 6 right rear break and turn signal
