Rough idling at Cold startup
My Chrysler Sebring is running very rough on
very cold mornings at startup rough idle and
very very rich
Is the check engine light lit?
Bob yes it is I've had a mechanic check Diagnostics come up with misfires on cylinders 1 through 5 not number 6 and I'm totally confused about this
What were the trouble codes?
The mechanic that looked at my car said misfire don't know the code number but misfire through cylinders 1 through 5 it's running like the choke is stuck on the older car Plus there's a strong sound of a vacuum leak checked all that no vacuum leaks I don't understand what's going on
Take it to a local auto parts store and have it scanned for codes. This is usually a free service. Knowing what the codes are can lead to a resolution to the problem through diagnostics and research. Not knowing the codes will make it nearly impossible to suggest repair strategies.
Sure thing Bob I'll do that today and get back with you later I'm old school with Automotive stuff to me is like the choke is hung close but go figure I'll get the codes and get back with you
Hello Bob this is what the codes are first one po300 second one po301 cylinder 1 third one po303 cylinder 3 fourth one po4 cylinder 4 po305 cylinder 5 po306 Cylinder 6 I hope this helps
Mine is a2.5
The technique will still work.
Okay I'll research it to what happens you got nothing to lose
