how do i disable alarm in a 1999 sebring jxi i have no working fobs
I have never had a working fob for this car.I have had it for a while with no issues.Last
night i opened the door stuck in the key,and alarm went off. Tried turning the key back
and forth in both doors. No luck.Disconnected the battery waited awhile, again no luck.Car
will start pulled the horn park fuse inside lights flash on and off,no dash lights. This lasts
for about 10 mins then all is fine until next time. Then it does the same again.
There is no way to bypass the body computer module that manages the alarm system. If disabling the system is the goal, the module must be replaced and disabled at that time, if ever enabled, it cannot be reversed. Without a single fob, the system cannot train another fob or enter into training mode by the owner, the dealer must train at least the first replacement. Costs involved, roughly $100 to train transmitter, and the transmitter itself, which can be $150 from dealer. Replacement keys with imbedded security chip, as well as transmitters can be found on ebay very inexpensively. At least, with this done, you will restore the convenience of remote lock/unlock, trunk and panic as well as alarm disarming. Good luck!
My alarm will not shut off. I do not know how to turn alarm off. I bought a new battery for the keychain. No luck when i press the panic button it doesnt turn off.....i was reading that these car have a button you can press inside the car next to the hood lach that will turn off almarm
