My son has a 2000 Buick Regal with the 3600 engine with a super charger. At random times the engine powers off, even if you are driving. It will start back up. Any ideas out there as to what is goi

Sounds like an ignition system failure. Check the wiring at the starter, ignition control module, and if all else fails check the wiring at the ignition switch. I'm assuming the engine stalls but there's still power (dash indicators come on, radio continues to play, etc.)? HTH. -Jim
