Chip...nice to meet you...this engine is very impressive and quite reliable....however you know as well as I that if the door light's stuck on, it's because the switch think that someone is pressing it in...examine this switch...is located in the door jamb on the inside~ sheesh, kinda put me on the spot with your performance issues...how fat is your wallet.....no seriously if the mill has 130,000 miles on it....all those miles were put on by touching the gas pedal...now these things are supposed to be optical and won't wear out....but you can test the output of the TPS....then replace it if a dud~....this would account for the jumpy-frumpy performance of the engine...also engine temperature with regard to temperature....the IAT (intake air temp) sensor replaces the stove kit, diverter, thermal spring and butterfly...all that stuff in a single sensor...which can go bad....and measures the BLOCK temp too, if not exact, the performance will go kaput~
