I have a 2000 Chrysler Sebring JX. In the last
couple days my dash would cut in and out.
Everything still lit up but everything would
immediately go down to zero after starting. Last
night my car failed to start. I've changed the
battery & it was at 100% when put in. After trying to
start & failing to we took the new battery back out
and it was only registering at 15%. I've taken it to a
couple mechanics & no one seems to be able to
figure out my problem and I can't afford a $800
search on this car. Whatever the problem seems to
be it is draining a battery as soon as you even try
to turn it over & kills it. If I jump start it it starts fine
but even if I leave the car running to get a bit of a
charge like you would if you left your lights on and
then turn it off it won't turn back on. If someone
can just point me in a direction for someone to
look or has an idea of what it may be I would
When driving my heat will also go in out if that makes a difference
I think you may need to check your ignition switch, there is a draw on the battery and the ignition is what kills the fire to the car,i think it may be your issue.
It's definitely not my ignition switch. That tested good & so did my starter itself
