Fuel smell coming from the driver rear

I am smelling gas fumes coming
from the rear driver side while can
is running. What causes this?

Depends on the fumes. Is it raw gas or exhaust. My first though is you have an exhaust leak. Check for holes and cracks, especially at the exhaust connections. Raw fuel would mean a leaky fuel line or from the fuel tank. Usually the gasket on the top leaks. Check for signs or wetness.
