Battery dies while driving

Asked by Erika Nov 20, 2021 at 11:07 AM about the 2003 Buick Rendezvous CXL FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

New battery, new alternator, new starter, one new
cable connector. Something in steering column
started making a noise while car was off. I think
whatever that is drains the battery beyond what the
alternator can keep up with. How do I know whats
making the noise in the steering column or is there
any other idea of what is killing the battery? All of
the new parts were new at the same time just days
ago.

It sounds you have Electric System Malfunction: There was NO need for that New Starter. may sure B4 to blame any Starting/Charging system component to check battery cables, battery ESG, drivebelt conditions, drivebelt tensioner. "is there any other idea of what is killing the battery?"...., Yes There is! Do Battery Drain Test to verify At-fault electrical circuit drawing down your battery current. thanks.
