Oil leak in 2001 Sebring convertible only while engine running...oil drips lots of oil on exhaust pipe and can't tell exactly where it leaks from. It doesn't appear to be valve cover gasket but lower?
Leaking only when engine running.....Streaming oil from below valve cover.
However I can't tell from any angle where it begins. Exhaust pipe is hard to
get around to try to dx the origin. I cant afford mechanic. Need help.
hate to suggest this...but a can of "foamy engine brite" spray, then covering the distributor and high voltage components with plastic bags and duct tape use the engine brite and hose it off~ let it dry, remove the plastic bags that protected the coil, etc. and give it a chance to show itself~ then replace the valve cover gasket...you may try just snuggin' the vc bolts a scoach~...do not overtighten...replace the gasket instead~
