Just replaced wire harness and can't get it to start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After replacing wire harness, when I turn the key,
the shift indicater is constantly shifting through the
gears not allowing it to register it's in park. What
do you think my problem is

Lots of possibilities See the following thread & good luck you can fix it http://www.dakota-durango.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9146

I would check the relay - they can be damage when the harness goes bad - will not know until you replace harness
