Have the code read or buy a code reader. A mechanic can do it and some auto supply stores can do it for you as well. If you are a do-it- yourselfer a code reader is an essential tool.

A flashing check engine light is warning you that the engine is misfiring and damaging the catalytic converter. If you're due for a tune up, I'd do that first. HTH. -Jim
