why is it every time that after i pump gas in my 08 pontiac g6 GXP it takes 5 turns on the ignition in order to turn it on sometimes less.

But its only when i pump gas, any other time it starts right up. I have no problems unless I pump gas

You should not have to pump the gas pedal to start a fuel injector car. Put your foot on the brake, and just turn the key to the on position, you should hear the fuel pump buzz/prime the fuel lines and then procedure to start the car.
