CAR IDLES ROUGH.PUFF,PUFF OUT THE TAILPIPE. MECHANIC WANTS TO OPEN
THE ENGINE UP TO DIAGNOSE IT, POSSIBLY A NEW MOTOR NEEDED PER THE
MECHANIC, COIL REPLACED AND PLUGS SO FAR,

Have you had a compression test done? Do that before you have the motor disassembled. Sounds like you're going to need a head gasket anyway.
